Thank you for your interest in Western Illinois Bancshares, Inc ("WIBI"). This bulletin board allows you to post your interest in buying or selling Western Illinois shares of common stock.
Information posted on this bulletin board will help you identify persons who have an interest in selling shares of WIBI that you may want to buy, or in buying shares of WIBI you may want to sell.
Here are the steps required for interested parties to sell or buy shares:
- The buyer and seller agree on the terms of the transaction – the number of shares involved and the price.
- The buyer and seller complete a Share Transfer Application. Click here to obtain a copy.
- The seller sends the completed Share Transfer Application to WIBI, along with his/her/its share certificates, if any, and a completed Irrevocable Stock Power of Attorney. Click here to obtain a copy.
- If the seller never received or cannot find his/her/its share certificates, the seller must also submit an Affidavit of Loss and Indemnity to WIBI. Click here to obtain a copy.
- Authorized members of WIBI board of directors determine whether to approve or disapprove the transfer.
- WIBI issues a new certificate (more than one, if the seller is retaining some of the shares represented by the old certificate). New certificates are mailed to the appropriate parties.
